Professional Facial Treatment Training
Performing a facial treatment is an opportunity for you to give your client a relaxing and enjoyable treatment designed to improve and rejuvenate their skin.
This course will teach you everything you need to know about offering a professional facial and includes a practical training session and assessment.
The GTi Facial Treatment course follows the National Occupational Standards and covers reception, consultation and ventilation. It also covers anatomy and physiology, contra-indications and contra-actions, skin conditions, skin analysis, preparation, skin types and product selection, preparing for treatment, technique and aftercare.
The GTi Facial Treatment course includes the GTi Professional Standards course, for all students who have not completed this course.
The GTi Facial Treatment Award is accredited by the Guild of Beauty Therapists, the UK’s leading professional beauty trade body.
All sixteen of the modules and examinations are completed online with full online support available. The course is beautifully written and accompanied by images, video clips and a voice-over. Upon completion of the online theory modules, you will receive a PDF manual which you can refer back to.
This Guild Training International (GTi) course is taught by experienced therapist Steve, who has PTLLS Level 4 teaching qualification. The course includes certification to practice through accreditation and insurance provided by the Guild Of Beauty Therapists awarding body. Guild student insurance is included for the duration of the course, plus a discounted price on Guild membership is available through al Covo on completion.
Overview
Title:Facial Treatment (Online and Practical Course)
Summary: This course covers the technique for performing a superficial and deep cleanse, tone, steam, extract, massage, mask and moisturisation. It also includes fantastic anatomy and physiology resources with clear diagrams and voice over. Health and safety guidance is covered as well as skin conditions, skin analysis and advice about different skin types as well as guidance as to which type of product is suitable for use.
Qualification: GTi Award. On completion of the course, successful students will receive a GTi certificate in Facial Treatment, and a discount on Guild membership is available through al Covo.
Course Accreditation: Guild of Beauty Therapists.

Theory Hours: 16 Hours, completed at your own pace.
