VEET Cream & Foam Spray Epilation
VEET Cream and Foam Spray Epilation is a relatively new technique that is ideal for men who find the pain of waxing or electronic epilation too much, don't require precision hair lines, and don't mind the wait of dissolving the hair while you wait. The cream or foam dissolves the hair down to the root, leaving skin smooth for up to two weeks before new hair appears, with re-treatment possible after about 4-6 weeks. VEET Cream and Foam Spray Epilation is recommended only if the client doesn't require complete hair removal, as approximately only 60-90% of hair removal will occur, which compares to completely smooth skin which results from 100% hair removal by waxing and electronic epilation. The client may also have adverse side effects or reactions to the chemicals present in the cream or spray (eg the smell can be off-putting as the spray dissolves the hair while you wait), and so a patch test is advisable.
VEET Cream and Foam Spray epilation is possible on non-intimate areas such as the arms, legs, back, chest and tummy. The cream or foam soaks into the area for about 10 minutes, which dissolves the hair down to the root, then the remaining residue and hair is wiped away with a cloth or plastic blade, and the skin cleaned with water.
